VARSITY

A poor and slow start doomed the Cavemen on the day, with Skyridge scoring three goals in the first ten minutes due to Cavemen errors. The second half was much better for the Cavemen, with several chances coming close and Miller Hall and Nick Sharp both scoring goals to make the game interesting at 2-3. Ultimately, Skyridge hit American Fork on a counter attack as the Cavemen were pressing for an equalizer, and the final score was 4-2 for the Falcons. A day to remember and its time to bounce back for a quick turnaround against Westlake on Friday at home.

For JV, the Cavemen were the better team on the day and had the majority of the chances, but the only goal of the game didn't come until the final kick of the game, as Nixon Caceres finished a corner kick with his left foot with just a couple seconds left, and the clock expired as celebrations ensued.
