First game back after Spring Break and the Cavemen get another win! We traveled north to Draper to take on 2022 region champ Corner Canyon. After a tough start and going down 0-1, the Cavemen fought back, and Nick Sharp earned a penalty with just a couple seconds left in the half. Miller Hall stepped up and scored the penalty to give the Cavemen the equalizer with the last kick of the half.
The second half the Cavemen grew into the game more, and the pressure finally paid off in the 56th minute. Miller Hall cut into the box and took a low shot, which was blocked by the goalkeeper. Lewis Knecht was the first to pounce on it and scored with a powerful shot past the keeper to make it 2-1.
The Cavemen would hold on, even creating some more opportunities before the final whistle.

Junior Varsity
JV continued its undefeated season with another 1-0 win, this time at Corner Canyon's expense. The lone goal of the game came as Nathan Sanchez beat his defender, beat the goalkeeper in a 1v1 situation, and then passed the ball into an empty net.
JV improves to 6-0-2 on the season.
