Freshman Bodie Ford became the first American Fork Cavemen soccer player to ever win the Dallas Cup, one of the country's most prestigious club tournaments.
The tournament is held in Dallas area each year and hosts teams from all over the world. Bodie competed with the US ODP National Select Team for the tournament, and became the first Caveman to win the tournament. The team went 6-0 during the tournament.
Bodie played 75 minutes of the 80-minute match that went to penalties to be decided after full-time ended 0-0. The US ODP team scored four straight penalties, and Solar SC from Dallas missed two penalties for US ODP to win in four kicks!
