HEAD COACH CASEY WALDRON
Coach Waldron is in his 11th season as Head Coach at American Fork. Waldron led American Fork to the school's first state championship in 40 years in the 2024 season, and is looking to lead the Cavemen back to the top.
Waldron grew up in Southern California and prepped at Arlington High School. After high school, Waldron attended BYU where he played on the BYU Men's Soccer team. Waldron played at BYU for six years, during which he won three club National Championships. Waldron is currently a member of the BYU staff, and has won five straight club National Championships.
Waldron is the oldest 12 children and has been married to his wife Tammy for 25 years. They have six children: Maxwell, Mia, Eva Kylynne, Graham, and Beckham.
Assistant coach josh winn
Coach Winn is in his fourth season as the head coach for the JV squad. Born in Provo, he played for Rangers and for Cougars' State Cup winning teams, ODP, and a nationally ranked Timpview HS Team.
After high school, he coached Timpview HS boys and girls teams for three years, winning Region each year, before serving an LDS Mission in Montana. After returning, he played soccer at SUU where he was also the women's head coach. He currently coaches at Utah United.
Coach Winn has been married to his wife Teresa for over 20 years. They have four children and one black doodle. Coach Winn is a die hard supporter of Manchester United, loves sport shooting and camping, and taking his club teams to tournaments nationwide.
ASSISTANT COACH NATE STOVEN
Coach Stoven is in his 11th season as the goalkeeper coach at American Fork. Coach Stoven grew up in Sandy, Utah and prepped at Brighton High School, where he won two high school state championships. He played his club soccer for Inter FC, where he also won several club state championships. After graduating high school, Coach Stoven attended BYU and played on the Men’s Soccer Team as a goalkeeper during the program’s semi-pro days in the PDL.
Coach Stoven has been married to his wife Chanel for ten years and lives in American Fork. They welcomed their first son in January 2023. Coach Stoven works for Woodside Homes, where he is an Area Construction Manager. Coach Stoven served an LDS Mission in the West Virginia Charleston Mission.
Assistant Coach Parker Draney
Coach Draney is in his 3rd season as the goalkeeper coach at American Fork. Coach Draney grew up in American Fork and prepped at American Fork High School, where he was a part of the American Fork Soccer Program. Coach Draney has been instrumental in helping the boys fitness, focusing on proper warm ups and full body preparation for each game in our brutally cold season.
Coach Draney is married and will be attending medical school while helping out with the team in 2025.
ASSISTANT COACH MAXWELL WALDRON
Coach Waldron is in his first year on the staff after returning home from an LDS Mission in the Cambodia Phnom Penh Mission. Waldron attended American Fork and played with the team all four seasons during high school, graduating in 2022.
ASSISTANT COACH SETH BECKER
Coach Becker joined the staff in 2025 and will be one of our goalkeeper coaches. Becker has worked for more than 15 years developing top goalkeepers around the state, and brings his expertise to the program.
ASSISTANT COACH DILLON Childs
Coach Childs is in his first year on the staff after returning home from an LDS Mission in Paraguay. Childs attended American Fork and played with the team all four seasons during high school, graduating in 2022.
