2024 Meeting AGENDA

PRACTICE SCHEDULE

Practice time varies by day and can be confusing with the different school schedules! The A4 class period is dedicated to practice and can be hard to track as high school and junior high students have different release times.

Below is the current practice schedule, which is subject to change.

COACH EXPECTATIONS

Training & Culture Standard

  • Competitive
  • Feedback is Fuel
  • Love

Prepared plan for the team.

Prepare for your daughter's next step in life: soccer, college, etc.

PLAYER EXPECTATIONS

Attendance at all team events—which includes all JV and varsity games for every player. Be on time (and early).

Live and breathe our culture.

Communication with Coach Cam and assistants. All communication with coaches must include Coach Cam. This includes messaging for being late or missing practice, games, or other team activities. We believe in taking ownership, sharing feelings and frustrations, and more about the girls. Be open so we can get to know them and learn how to prep them.

JV/Varsity will be fluid. Everything is earned. Somedays a player may train with varsity, and others with JV. The expectation is that every day every player comes ready to compete, no matter where they are. Varsity playing time will be based on performance. The best players will play. JV will be competitive but will rotate more.

We understand that the junior high release time is later than the high school. Please make an effort to arrive on time to all events. We will be understanding if a 9th grader is a couple minutes late. We will also have a release time for all players on game days where we will travel.

Excused absences: Player expectation is to be at all practices or games. If there is an event that conflicts with the schedule, players must communicate this with Coach Cam and the assistants. Absences for family events like weddings, funerals, missionaries, and similar events are excused. School events like choir, orchestra, etc are also excused. All absences must be communicated in advance.

PARENT EXPECTATIONS

24 Hour Rule: During and after a game, our emotions are at their highest. Please wait 24 hours to communicate with coaches about concerns you may have. After 24 hours, emotions and concerns often resolve themselves, so please be judicious in your approach to the coaching staff.

Coaching from the sideline: As a staff we highly encourage supporting your daughter by cheering loud and proud! However, we discourage coaching, instructing, or speaking to your daughter about tactics or how to play. Coaching from the sideline can cause confusion and can affect what coaches have instructed. Don't yell at the referees. We are already aware they're not great. Blaming referees denies the opportunity for the team to accept responsibility.

Participate in meals and activities to make this the best experience possible for your daughter.

Show up, support, be loud and positive!

FUNDRAISING

CAR WASH

Our annual car wash is a favorite for our girls and we look forward to doing so again. The car wash will be August 10 from 9am-12pm at the corner of State Street and Pacific Drive. All sales go towards the team.

CAR WASH FUNDRAISER

DIGITAL DISCOUNT CARDS

The digital discount cards will be sold by the players to help fundraise for the team. Players will be expected to sell 20 cards to help raise funds for the team. The first player to sell 20 cards will receive a prize, as will the top three overall sales.

SPONSORSHIPS

Sponsorships are available for the team, as are smaller donations. Players can get a banner sponsorship for the year. Each sponsorship is $500. Of that amount, $300 goes to the player fees, while the rest goes to the team and pays for the banner.
